Jake's Day Off is the fifteenth episode of season two.

Synopsis[]

Jake skips school and naturally, Adam gets dragged in.

Plot[]

Jake takes a break from school, but in his fashion, he spends his break at school. While being there, he enjoys the facilities without the classes getting in the way and convinces Adam to attend. Jake steals Principal Pixiefrog's scooter and even tells Principal Pixiefrog about it in a note. Now Principal Pixiefrog is looking for them. What will happen if he finds them?

  • The title and plot is a parody on "Ferris Beuller's Day Off".
  • Second Time Jake impersonates Principal Pixiefrog, first time being "Up All Night".
  • Dickie Sugarjumper and Laura Owl hint having romantic feelings for each other, whether they be secretive, or they're already dating, as they almost kiss, and blush upon doing so.
  • Dickie and Laura ate the same worm, making them kiss. This is a reference to the Disney film "Lady and the Tramp".
  • Jake knocked out Adam with a boxing glove and said "I am the greatest" in a quiet, raspy voice. This is a reference to Muhammad Ali, a famous professional boxer and his catchphrase.
  • The "Shakey Jakey" is a parody on "The Hokey Pokey".
  • Adam is allergic to radioactive mushrooms.
